Meet The Team

Meet the dedicated individuals behind our Candies For a Cause Foundation. Our board members bring a wealth of experience, compassion, and commitment to improving the lives of families affected by cleft lip and palate. Their leadership and dedication help guide our mission. They provide meaningful support and resources to those who need it most.

Andrea Garrett

Position: Founder/President

Andrea Garrett, a devoted mother of three and proud grandmother of two beautiful girls, is passionate about fostering community and building confidence within the cleft community. A lover of the outdoors, she enjoys hunting, hiking, and participating in summer and winter sports, eager to share these experiences with her grandchildren in their stunning backyard. Inspired by her granddaughter's own cleft journey, Andrea founded Candies for a Cause, using her interest in freeze drying to raise funds that support children in need. Her mission is to bring hope, confidence, and smiles to those who need it most—one candy at a time. Fun fact: Andrea used to rodeo as a young girl, and her favorite candy is Charleston Chews.

Hi, I’m Alfyn, the Marketing and Outreach Director for Candies for a Cause. As a real estate professional and proud mom of three beautiful children, family means everything to me. I'm dedicated to building lasting relationships and ensuring that others feel supported and valued. My passion for giving back to the community drives me to make a positive impact in any way I can. By helping the cleft community, I aim to make a tangible difference—bringing hope, confidence, and smiles to those who need it most. Fun fact: I was born in Saudi Arabia, and people often mistake my sister and me for twins! My all-time favorite candy is definitely sour gummy worms.

Jenny Feild

Position: Secreatary

I am a wife and mom to two amazing adult daughters, ages 19 and 23. My husband and I have been married for 20 years, and my greatest passion is being fully present for my family while keeping God at the center of our lives.

My gift is serving and helping others. I have faced my own health challenges and, through those experiences, have learned the tools and lifestyle needed to overcome them. This journey has fueled my passion for working with other women facing similar struggles, providing them with resources and support along the way.

I love being outdoors, whether it's going on walks, camping, or spending summers at the lake with my family.

Supporting CFACF is deeply meaningful to me, not only because of the families it helps but also because of my commitment to Andrea Garrett and her incredible vision for the foundation. Before CFACF, I wasn’t very familiar with the cleft community or the challenges patients and families face. I’m excited to learn more and help make a real impact.

A fun fact about me—I hate flying! I’d much rather keep my feet on the ground and take a road trip than board a plane. And while I’m not much of a candy person, if you give me anything dark chocolate, I’ll happily eat it!

Kim Clark

Position: Treasurer

Kim is the owner of Innovative Bookkeeping Service and serves as the Treasurer for CFAC. Her journey with CFAC began when she met Andrea at a women's business meet and greet, where Andrea shared her inspiring story. Having experienced firsthand the challenges of supporting a loved one with an autoimmune disorder since 2012, Kim understands the profound impact such conditions have on both individuals and their families. Her children are her entire world, and she empathizes deeply with anyone facing obstacles that disrupt their lives. Supporting CFAC is particularly meaningful to Kim, as she believes children and adults need not only access to necessary surgeries but also assistance with supplies and medical care. Additionally, families must know they are not alone and that compassionate support is available for both emotional and financial needs. A fun fact about Kim is that, in addition to her dedication to her children, she is an avid animal
